March 18th, 2009
Mico Design are about to launch their Sydney ‘Design Series’ of events, to be held at their Liverpool Street Showroom.
Designed to provide a forum for the Architecture and Design community, the ‘Mico Design Series’ is a networking event, aimed at stimulating discussion on various industry topics. The series will be led by industry professionals and experts in their fields.
The launch will welcome Dianne Deane – Director of Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards Scheme (WELS) – with ‘What is WELS?’ outlining the role of WELS and legal obligations required to meet WELS Standards in Australia.
The talk will include: WELS performance and rating requirements; processes for product testing, registering and labelling; and how WELS will continue to play a greater role in the specification of products in the future.
The evening will be catered for by Smeg Appliances, with on-site cooking demonstrations in the kitchen working display area of the Mico showroom, before the discussion commences.
This official launch of the ‘Mico Design Series’ will mark the first of a series of three for 2009.
