Join the HÃ…G roadshow to play a little Capisco basketball and welcome the brand to Australia.
October 22nd, 2009
In November, Iken will be launching the HÅG brand into Australia. Following a successful preview of the products at Saturday in Design Sydney, Iken will take the products on a national roadshow with a cocktail party in four states. ’¨’¨
Special guests Emilio Marisei and Ulf Magnusson from HÅG Norway will unveil the latest chairs including the Futu (short for ‘future’) and Capisco, chairs both designed to be the most environmentally friendly chairs on the market.
The HÅG design team has been working for nearly seven years on its new Futu chair. Futu’s clean and smooth design conceals HÅG ’s new intelligent integrated seat mechanism known as inBalance®. ’¨’¨This new technology allows the user a simple means for making subtle adjustments to the chair without knobs or levers. As a result, the HÅG Futu offers unparalleled comfort in a beautifully elegant and slender profile.
The Futu is produced using a minimum of energy and raw materials. Each component has been engineered to optimize use of the material. In fact, only seven different materials are used to manufacture the chair. It is 97% recyclable with more than 50% of raw materials recycled, uses no chrome, non-recyclable composites or glue, and has Environmental Product Declaration in accordance with EN-ISO-14025.
HÅG Futu is now available exclusively to IKEN.
Click here to receive your invitation to attend the exclusive HÅG launch party to be held in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Darwin. In Brisbane, Iken and HÅG will launch the first ever ‘CAPISCO BASKETBALL CHALLENGE’ proudly supporting the Midnight Basketball charity to help ‘at risk’ youths in Australia.
The roadshow will be touring from 5 – 13 November 2009.
