NAWIC’s NSW chapter last week hosted a cocktail party to launch its 2013 Awards for Excellence.
July 1st, 2013
The National Association for Women In Construction annual awards program aims to celebrate the achievements of women working in the construction industry.
The launch was celebrated by key sponsors and VIP’s of this year’s awards and was generously hosted by Justin Schwarz, owner of Quorra, at the jeweller’s new showroom in Sydney’s CBD.
The theme of the ball this year is ‘Parisian Lights’. Sarah Hogan, NAWIC NSW Major Event and Awards Chapter Chair explained “This is a French inspired theme, based on the magic and romance of Paris; the city of lights. It is a befitting theme for the awards and a celebration of the efforts of all women in the construction industry. I am confident that this year’s ball will be our best ever.”
The awards are now open for registration. Click here for details.
Winners will be announced at NAWIC NSW chapter Awards for Excellence Gala ball, one of the industry’s most prestigious events, attracting over 800 guests. This year’s ball is on Thursday 22 August 2013, at Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre. The night will be hosted by entertainment reporter for the Nine Network and the TODAY Show, Richard Wilkins. Table bookings are now live and can be booked here.
