PCG have created a unique contemporary workplace for transport and truck insurer National Transport Insurance (NTI).
August 16th, 2011
Transport and truck insurer NTI needed a unique contemporary workplace to promote their brand and reinforce their reputation as an employer of choice.
The PCG design team responded with a fit-out enabling both a professional and relaxed working environment.
On entering, visitors are greeted by a stainless steel and reconstituted stone sculptured ’shipping container’ reception desk. Lightly branded glazed partitions allow visual access to the workplace beyond.
The aim was to portray NTI’s values of strength, reliability and trust by allowing clients and visitors to experience the company’s business culture first hand.
A ’Hero Wall’ connects the reception to the staff café and meeting rooms, boosting company pride and morale by displaying industry, individual and tongue-in-cheek awards.
A truck stop diner-style café provides a space for staff and visitors to mingle.
The open planned workplace enhances communication between the different areas of the space, improving communication and flexibility in NTI’s work practices.
The project was designed to be as environmentally sustainable as possible through the specification of materials, furniture, lighting and reuse of a high percentage of the existing base building ceilings, services and carpet.
