Not only is Saturday in Design Singapore exciting local architects, designers and specifiers, it’s also getting some great support from DesignSingapore Council and local Singapore industry partners.
The DesignSingapore Council has given its support to the initiative, promoting the event to their audience of industry members. As well, Executive Director Mr. Jeffrey Ho will be a Guest of Honour at the Official Saturday in Design Opening Event on Wednesday 18 May at the red dot design museum.
With DesignSingapore Council’s mission being to develop Singapore into a global city for design, nurturing a climate of co-creation and innovation, they are a perfect partner for the international event. Mr Ho himself has long been a champion of initiatives that cement Singapore’s position as the global city for design creativity in Asia.
The coming together of major design forces in the Asia Pacific region is described by President of the red dot design museum Singapore, Mr. Ken Koo: “Each bring with it an invaluable international network and perspective to Singapore…”
Also attending the Official Opening will be Stefan Diez, international designer, special guest of Wilkhahn and designer of the red dot award-winning chair, Chassis.
