The new showroom at Devonshire Road is home to 4 distinct outdoor brands.
March 2nd, 2012
The former BoConcept store at 20 Devonshire Road in Singapore has been transformed into a new “Great Outdoors” showroom for 4 distinctly diverse brands. Sharing 7,000 sq ft of space are the creations of Kenneth Cobonpue, along with Paola Lenti (Italy), Kettal (Spain), and Manutti (Belgium).
Kenneth Cobonpue
The Filipino designer has gained international fame for his sculptural, contemporary outdoor furniture made with locally sourced natural materials and traditional know-how. Many of his pieces, as is famously known, have made their way into celebrity homes around the world.
Paola Lenti
In the design world, Paola Lenti is a name synonymous with textile innovation. Each original piece derives its character from the choice of materials and techniques used, and through colour, texture and form.
Kettal
The Spanish brand takes a strong stance on research, innovation and sustainability, and works with international designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Hella Jongerlius, Marcel Wanders and Emiliana Design studio. Its designs are timeless and functional, yet expressive.
Manutti
Manutti’s restrained designs make them a fit with most interior styles, and are especially popular in hospitality projects. The Belgium brand is a pioneer in the field of modular sofas, designing with special attention to the finish and stitching.
