The Airgrace Chair by Kazutaka Oki is designed to change attitudes and enhance motivation and here’s how.
November 2nd, 2012
Just like how sports tools help to enhance the performance of athletes, the design and functions of the Airgrace considers ways to do the same at work.
The Airgrace Chair adopts an active design and features multiple functions, including:
– A synchronised mechanism that adjusts the angle between the backrest and seat for optimum comfort. The strength is also fully adjustable to suit the user’s personal preference.
– Adjustable seat height via a simple one-touch operation.
– Adjustable seat depth to accommodate the user’s personal preferences.
– Adjustable armrest height to suit the desk height and the user’s physique and working posture. The armrests can also be adjusted side to side and front to back to suit the user’s body shape and working posture.
– Control levers that are well integrated into the chair’s design for maximised operability and visibility.
– The position and amount of air in the lumber support can also be adjusted to suit the individual’s preference.
In addition, the simple frame and silhouette ensures that Airgrace will fit well in a wide variety of interior spaces.
The Airgrace Chair is carried at KOKUYO in Singapore.
