Comfort and affordability meet body-sensitive curves in Okamura’s Zephyr Light task chair.
December 31st, 2012
Okamura seating is recognised worldwide for its functionality, comfort, and beautiful form. These elements have earned the brand worldwide praise. Shaped for ease, the Zephyr Light chair is no exception.
This affordable task chair was developed to gently fit the body. Designed by Okamura’s in-house creative team, it combines Japanese aesthetics with superb comfort.
Its organic shape was inspired by the smooth, curving lines of nature. The back of the chair in particular is defined by its frame, which incorporates unique lines that seem to flow. Just like the light wind after which it was named, Zephyr Light has a flowing form that works with the body’s curves.
The chair is also adaptable to various interior styles. It can complement workspaces that favour sharp lines, traditional styles, and everything in between. It is available in 8 colours: black, gilt, wine, stone, yellow, green, ocean and cobalt.
Zephyr Light can easily be adjusted to the user’s preferences. Thanks to its allowance for fine adjustability in areas such as the reclining angle, the seat position, and the armrest height, comfort is yours even after long periods of sitting.
Zephyr Light has a die-cast aluminium frame and base, a nylon shell, polyester mesh and fabric, and a polyurethane cushion.
