Sustainability forms the core discussion at this year’s event, to be held at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands from 7 – 9 May.
April 1st, 2013
The need for sustainable facility management is more pressing than ever, with companies seeing the need to better manage their infrastructure, buildings, working spaces and properties. In Singapore, the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) has implemented various Green Mark Incentive Schemes to encourage the green facelift of the country’s urban landscape, while on a global scale, the facilities management market has also been forecasted to grow up to USD$394.69 billion by 2017.
To be held for the first time in Singapore, this year’s International Facility Management Expo 2013 (iFaME) will offer an extensive showcase of new technologies, solutions, products and services for efficient and sustainable facility management.
The event will also include networking sessions and conferences, such as the Singapore Facility Management Conference 2013 where industry professionals – specifically facility managers – will get to share their experiences and gather more insights on the latest trends in the sustainable facility management arena.
The exhibition segment will cover various industry pavilions that represent the different aspects of facility management, such as Doors & Windows, Sanitary Ware, Electrical, Building Materials, as well as Lifts and Escalators.
This exhibition will be held concurrently with Safety & Security Asia (SSA) 2013, Fire & Disaster Asia (FDA) 2013, Workplace Safety Asia (WSA) 2013 and LEDTEC Asia 2013. It will gather 600 exhibitors from 30 countries, and aims to attract over 10,000 visitors.
