For this year’s Singapore Indesign, P5 has tapped multi-disciplinary designer Grace Wong (Elixr) and homegrown gallery shop Supermama to dream up an urban jungle just for you!

There are so many reasons why luxury furniture retailer P5 is on our design radar. But if we had to narrow it down to one (trust us, it was not easy), it would be its beautiful, beautiful showroom that recently opened on Mohamed Sultan Road.
Taking up a whopping 8,000 sq ft, P5’s space houses not only Molteni & C and Dada’s flagship, but also icons – old and new – by the likes of Belgian designer Vincent Van Duysen, visionary Italian master Gio Ponti, Italian architect Rodolfo Dordoni and many more. That’s not all. It is also here, at P5, where you will find premium brands such as Carl Hansen, Kettal and Stellar Works.
So what are our friends at P5 up to for Singapore Indesign?
Well, this year, they have tapped multi-disciplinary designer Grace Wong (Elixr) and homegrown gallery shop Supermama to dream up an urban jungle just for you. The former, who cut her teeth in the US and has worked on a range of branding projects for clients in education, finance and retail, has put together an installation featuring local landscapes and beyond shot on a drone.
The latter, through the works of five 工房 (koubou – ‘making facilities’ in Japan), aims to establish a relationship between people and raw material. It hopes for people to love the raw material for what it can do for them and also to encourage them to delve deeper into the craftsmanship behind every form. Each of the five 工房 will provide a perspective on how traditional crafts can fit into our concrete jungle.
P5 is conveniently located right across the road from the Curated Space. Trust us, you won’t want to miss this stop!
