According to Coronet Global, the office space is set to drop 33% per person from 225sqft in 2010 to 151sqft in 2017. In response to this market trend, leading partition systems manufacturer JEB International has designed its Integra8 operable wall to provide much greater flexibility in office environments.

The company’s Integra double glazed operable wall sets the bar in terms of aesthetic design, acoustic performance and quality in operable walls, but they have now gone one step further and introduced switchable glass to a movable wall.

“The performance and flexibility of this wall is second to none. This product was designed to look like a beautiful fixed glass wall that a user would be proud to show off in any client facing area. Now when that wall is also operable and has instantaneous privacy, it is understandable why we think this product is a game changer,” says Rob Wall, Managing Director of JEB International.

The Integra8 system is prefabricated which means installation time on site is kept to a minimum. The operation can also be linked up to the AMX or Dynalight control system so the privacy glass can be controlled via an iPad or any other remote system. In addition, Integra8 has a slim profile hidden by a colour backed border on the glass with no visible fixings, and it is this attention to detail that sets the JEB brand above others.

“To put it simply, this operable wall is most commonly used in front of house meeting rooms where clients would like to showcase their expansive views but then have the comfort of private meetings (both visually and sound private). We then provide the flexibility of increasing the open space to be used as a function area,” says Regional Manager, Timothy Burndred.“Clients have demanded more from their space, especially the areas dedicated for high value meetings, and we believe we have answered this call in a powerful way.”
