Designed to cater to the ‘urban nomad,’ the international hotel chain Moxy explores strong design with meticulous attention to detail with Furniture by Design.

The name ‘Moxy’ promises attitude and spunk – something that Moxy at Mascot delivers with style.
Keeping true to the playfully unique character upheld by the international brand, Moxy turned to Furniture by Design to help cultivate their New-York style experience – packed with contextual reflections and historical references that have been inspired by Mascot’s industrial and art-deco heritage. Nestled close to the airport, the hotel articulates Moxy’s dedication to maximising the connection between space and design.
With the goal of catering to the ‘urban nomad’ and ‘innovative professional,’ the Moxy experience combines stylish industrial design with sociable experiences at an affordable price point – giving guests the opportunity to save on space and splurge on experiences.
The hotel’s interior design elegantly reflects this ethos with features such as concrete floors, high ceilings and the extensive use of steel and timber in a chic nod to the popular New York warehouse aesthetic.
Critical to the creation of this aesthetic was Marques Interior Design studio’s vision and Furniture by Design’s careful execution of custom-designed furniture which elevates the space to a haven of quality design.
Delivering further intelligent detail into the space, the Furniture by Design team introduced the custom-designed Coppola dining and meeting chairs – a nod to the legendary film director who can keep people captivated in their seats for hours.
The welcome lobby, the centrepiece of the hotel’s curious design, features Furniture by Design’s eye-catching Beau modular lounge in quirky electric blue, complemented by Aiden tables, square ottomans, oak four-legged stools and circles bar stool.
The adventure continues with ‘ArtHouse,’ a delightfully unique boardroom which features a curated collection of contemporary Australian artwork and modular furniture, including Furniture by Design’s digital print checkerboard tables and Coppola meeting chairs.
With its fusion of bold design, heritage-inspired aesthetic, and the bespoke offerings of Furniture by Design, Moxy at Mascot promises an unforgettable and immersive experience for all of its guests. Explore the limitless possibilities.
