Lanes™ is a battened style acoustic system unlike any other. Locally designed and manufactured and inspired by the weaving laneways of Melbourne’s inner-city suburbs, Lanes™ is a high performance and lightweight acoustic solution with a twist.

Autex Acoustics, global pioneers of acoustic innovation, work tirelessly to continue developing new and sophisticated acoustic design solutions. Their new system, Lanes™, pushes the capabilities of acoustic treatments beyond the boundaries of what is expected.
In fact, Lanes™ is the only acoustic panel treatment on the market which uses an air gap, is fire-compliant, and has equal suitability for all building classes. Its exceptional NRC rating range of 0.80-0.85 proves that the unique air gap present behind each Lane elevates its acoustic performance to new heights of sound absorption. These air gaps are part of what sets Lanes™ apart as an innovative acoustic solution unlike any other. While most acoustic systems are fixed flat against a surface, Lanes™ is installed with an air gap which traps and drastically increases the amount of sound absorbed.

Lanes™ is created from the flagship Autex Acoustics product Cube™ which gives it remarkable acoustic performance, long-term durability, and an exceptionally simple installation process. A feature wall treatment designed for flexibility, Lanes™ provides a high-performance acoustic solution especially appropriate for the sensitive demands of heritage-protected retrofits. This flexibility extends to aesthetic requirements as well. Lanes™ can be bold or subtle and is available in three main styles; Peak, Plane and Sawtooth, which can also be individually customised to suit certain textures, patterns or colours as desired.
Lanes™ is also the latest step in Autex Acoustic’s impressive journey of sustainability, as the first company in the interior acoustics industry to have achieved carbon neutrality. Technical and development manager for Australia Rob Jones recognises the contribution that Lanes™ brings to the world of environmental design.

“Lanes™ has been sustainability designed with an adhesive-free installation method and made using a minimum of 60% recycled content. It is a genuinely reusable and carbon neutral high-performance solution for all spaces.”
