Olimpia Splendid’s award-winning Unico Pro is designed to provide ultimate flexibility for architects and designers by eliminating the need for a bulky outdoor compressor.
Air conditioners pose an underrated design challenge for two key reasons: they often dominate interior spaces when they need to be positioned high on a wall, and the eyesore of bulky outdoor compressors can impact the exterior design of the building.
Olimpia Splendid eliminates both problems and more with Unico Pro, a new wall-mounted air conditioner with no external compressor unit. An impressive feat of modern Italian design and engineering, the Unico Pro’s compressor is contained within the indoor unit while maintaining the unit’s slim profile and quiet operation.

By eliminating the outdoor compressor, Unico Pro removes some of the aesthetic and practical challenges that impact the positioning of external units on some properties. This innovative air-conditioning unit is suitable for properties where external fittings are not possible or permitted such as apartment buildings where balcony space is limited, townhouses, heritage-listed buildings or dwellings where body corporate restrictions prohibit the use of outdoor compressor units.
Created by prestigious Milan studio, Matteo Thun & Partners, the Unico Pro’s sleek award-winning design dramatically improves the look of external walls and building facades as well as interiors. As only two discreet holes to an external wall are required for it to be fully functional, Unico Pro can be installed at floor or ceiling level, in the middle of the wall, or in the corner of the room, depending on aesthetic preference. With a design that integrates seamlessly into different architectural styles, Unico Pro introduces an original presence from every point of view.

The ultimate goal for the Unico Pro was not only to create a slim air conditioner with the smallest architectural footprint, but also a unit that offers maximum comfort and performance. Unico Pro is versatile and heats, cools and dehumidifies indoor spaces with ease, which is super convenient as we head into a change of seasons. Intuitive controls are provided using either the onboard backlit touchscreen display or the full-function remote control.
Unico Pro also features a modern inverter, which can potentially save you up to 30% of energy as compared with non-inverter products, and low-noise operation. Constructed from state-of-the-art soundproofing materials, this discreet air-conditioning unit is quiet enough for bedrooms and ideal for commercial or multi-residential applications.

Designed for simple installation, Unico Pro works off a standard 10A wall plug, which can eliminate the need for an electrician or expensive wiring through walls.
The Olimpia Splendid team has worked closely with its designers and engineers in Italy to provide a unique air conditioner that preserves, complements and respects architectural designs with non-intrusive fixtures. Winner of several design awards across the globe for its style and innovation, Unico Pro offers a refreshing alternative to architects and interior designers.
