It’s more than an award! That’s the key message and driving force behind the Workspace Awards 2019.
Since beginning in 2017, the Workspace Awards have been a highlight of the annual awards calendar. Born out of desire to celebrate Australian Interior Design, and showcase excellent work across our commercial design community, Workspace was looking to provide a platform for all participants; small, medium and large, to participate in an independent award program.
Now in its third year, the Workspace Awards has matured and expanded; now consisting of two categories; primary and major. The 2019 program consists of…
Primary Categories: Office, Hospitality, Education, Health, Aged Care, Technology, Retail & Residential Design.
Major Categories; Sustainability, Emerging Designer, Designer of the Year, Workplace (under) 1000m2, Workplace (over) 1000m2 and the Workspace Overall Winner (People’s Choice Award).
“The premise of the awards has been understood by the market, we genuinely believe we have filled the need for a truly independent award category, and we are so pleased to simply provide the platform,” says Workspace Chief Executive Officer, Tom Clark “Our award partners including media partner In Design provide the support we need. We simply want everyone to access the opportunity to showcase world-class design in Australia”.
Award entries for the 2019 awards are open now, eligible projects completed between 1st of August 2018 and 31st of July 2019. Entry is free and can be simply accessed via the Workspace website – but be quick – Entries close August 16!
Award winners will be announced in Sydney at an event on October 18th.
