Applications are now open for the Urban Art Projects Mentorship Residency that offers emerging designers an invaluable opportunity to develop their skills professionally and gain publicity for their work.
The mentorship awards an upcoming designer with a $5,000 cash prize towards their project and a three month residency at Brisbane’s Urban Art Projects studio, also valued at $5,000.
Based on a belief in the importance of welcoming new creative energy into the dynamic Queensland design industry, Urban Art Projects are offering to have part or the designer’s entire project constructed by the organisation.
The winning designer will also be provided a rare chance to exhibit the outcomes in Crucible, the Urban Art Projects sponsored gallery space.
Applications for the grant close on Friday 10 July at 5pm.
