The award recognises furniture design in three categories – Open, Young Designers and Students.
The awards in 2010 will welcome worldwide entries in the Young Designers category.
Awards include:
Students and Young Designers Categories
FDA Grand Award : S$6,000 cash, a trophy and an award certificate
FDA Honourable Mention(s) : S$1,000 cash, a trophy and an award certificate
FDA Merit Award(s) : A trophy and an award certificate
Open Category
FDA Grand Award : S$2,000 cash, a trophy and an award certificate
FDA Honourable Mention(s) : A trophy and an award certificate
All Categories
Best Use of Material Award : A trophy and an award certificate
(only one winner will be selected from across three categories)
Deadline for the Students and Young Designers categories is Tuesday, 1 September 2009 before 5pm, Singapore time and Monday, 21 December 2009 before 5pm, Singapore time for the Open Category.
