FRONT is shaping up to be an action-packed event filled with tangible innovations, leading-edge businesses and brands, new learning and networking opportunities as well as actionable knowledge. Meet the Ambassadors heading up FRONT 2019.
At the core of good design lives a thirst for knowledge, an openness to new ideas and flexibility of thought. That ability to address gaps of knowledge and embrace new and sometimes challenging ideas, goes hand-in-hand with an ability to engage and learn from your peers.
Taking place in International Towers’ Tower Three at Barangaroo, 29-30 August, the FRONT commercial design event is one of the most business-oriented and learning-driven events Australia has ever seen. In 2019 it returns for its second year, bringing with it an exhibition component of new products and innovations from the country’s leading suppliers, as well as plentiful networking and relationship-building opportunities, and two full days of FRONT Forum sessions which celebrate thought-leadership and ideas-generation.
We’ve already captured some of the new innovations which will be on show at FRONT 2019, as well as its relocation in 2019 to one of Sydney’s most flourishing precincts at Barangaroo. One of FRONT’s most exciting drawcards will be the two-day CPD presentations and FRONT Forum that run alongside the event. The former tackles technical topics and equips attendees with essential industry-relevant knowledge; while the latter explores hot button issues within sectors of workplace, healthcare and aged care, hospitality, and city and culture.
The Forum engages speakers – including FRONT’s newly appointed Ambassadors for 2019 – who represent a broad cross-section of industry, from architects to designers, developers, property managers and end-users (in the form of business owners, executives and facilities specialists).
The opportunities for knowledge-sharing and growth could not be more exciting, particularly given the growing culture of interdisciplinary partnerships we see building a symbiotic ecosystem around what is a complex specification chain.
FRONT provides a much-needed space amidst rapid industry transformation, offering plentiful opportunities for skill and knowledge exchange, as well as uniting professionals across disparate disciplines with a common call to action – to learn, knowledge exchange and building lasting relationships.
Critical to FRONT and its learning-driven program is our Ambassador panel of industry leaders and advisors. They have been critical in providing feedback and input as the FRONT program develops, contributing behind-the-scenes and also gearing up to take part in our Forum and other FRONT activities.
We’re incredibly excited to announce the first of our FRONT 2019 Ambassadors and advisors.
