You’ve seen the channel. Now you can live the Fashion TV lifestyle, thanks to a new hotel concept by dwp.
March 10th, 2011
Not content to just stream 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to aspiring glamazons around the world, Fashion TV is set to launch a series of hotels that aim to embody the glitz and excess of the channel.
The concept for the hotels, designed by dwp, is all mirrors, cut-diamond shapes and exorbitance.
A 60-storey tower and resort, F Hotel features retail shopping, a nightclub, spa, gym, studio for photo shoots, hair parlour, a theme restaurant called ‘Cathedral of Shoes’ and 4 choices of guestroom types – silver, gold, platinum and diamond.
The high-rise tower is shaped like a rotated, extruded diamond. Hotel rooms surround the perimeter and public areas take up the central atrium.
The façade is modular, prefabricated and screens Fashion TV video projections.
Guests strut their way through the entrance and onto a catwalk-style runway to enter the complex.
The F Hotel is “where guests meet unique experiences in fashion and stellar design concepts, for an extravagantly stylish stay,” said dwp in its statement.
The concept is set to launch first in Asia and then the Middle East.
