Central Park’s joint venture partners, Frasers Property Australia and Sekisui House celebrated the hugely successful 4 year arts initiative, FraserStudios, on Sydney’s Kensington Street on Thursday 21 June.
June 27th, 2012
The event marked the culmination of an initiative to make creative use of disused heritage warehouses in Kensington Street which are part of the Central Park precinct currently under construction on Broadway.
In 2008 the 3 warehouses were transformed into an arts space, providing free studios and rehearsal areas to Sydney’s art community.
At the 4 year celebration, guests enjoyed tours of the artists’ studios and were given the opportunity to talk to 2 of the artists, Aaron Anderson and Yvette Hamilton, who had taken part in the initiative.
More than 200 guests attended and enjoyed beverages by Cake pop-up bar and delicious catering by local Chippendale restaurant, Mission.
