The group of entrepreneurial firms will engage in a global collaboration using research and advanced technologies to redefine architectural practice.

“With access to more than 200 talented people in 10 cities and 7 time zones around the world we have significantly enhanced our ability to deliver unsurpassed value, quality and innovation. Our team members will work together and have the opportunity for day‐to-‐day interaction as well as work exchanges.

We are very excited to be able to build on our strengths and expand our expertise across our core sectors of retail, commercial, urban planning and interiors to include healthcare, infrastructure and education,” said Brian Jende, Managing Director, i2C.

At the core of the Ryder Alliance we welcome BIM Academy to Australian shores, this is a new centre for excellence for Building Information Modelling (BIM) through research, education and consultancy.

The innovative work of BIM Academy is important in the future development of digital engineering and will ensure the development of future methodologies and practices.

While in mainland Europe links are being forged with firms such as Ravetllat Ribas Arquitectura in Spain who bring to the alliance their own specialised skills.

Mark Thompson, Ryder Managing Partner has hailed a new era with the potential to drive growth and influence in a global market.

“Clients are seeking talented people dedicated to delivering unrivalled service with the best in international standards of architectural design. Ryder Alliance enhances the services available to clients by enriching our expertise and tapping into new research and development opportunities, ” says Mr Thompson.

The local workforce of i2C has also expanded with the appointment of experienced architect Ines Benavente Molina and interior designer Magdalena Uscinowicz.

Ines has a wealth of experience gained over two decades across all phases of design and construction including large-‐scale retail and residential developments in Europe. Magdalena joins i2C from Canada where she has undertaken major design projects including York Lanes Retail Centre at York University and the Bombardier Aerospace Engineering Facility.
