“The RSPCA briefed Giant to create a concept that was as far away from a pet shop as possible but brought shelter animals into a retail context.
“Based on a village green, the adoption tree with photos of animals adopted on the leaves, forms the hub of the centre. Animals are housed around the perimeter in friendly and approachable kennels within park-like surroundings.
“Meet and greet areas are within the picket fence greens. The RSPCA is planning to rollout the concept.”
