Designed by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby, the B&B Italia Tobi-Ishi table, first released in 2012 and widely acclaimed by critics, now has a new identity with the recent launch of a larger rectangular version at IMM Cologne.
February 26th, 2014
Maintaining the original influence of ornamental stones used in traditional Japanese gardens, the Tobi-ishi is now also available in a range of finishes expanding to 16 satin lacquered finishes for both the original round and the new rectangular version.
Joining the two glossy lacquered finishes are candy red and smoke blue, as well as the classic cement finish, matt Carrara white marble and glossy Marquinia black marble.
Tobi-ishi has been selected for inclusion in the prestigious XXIII Compasso d’Oro design award program, judged by an international jury.
Tobi-Ishi is available exclusively from Space Furniture.
