Designer Rugs launches their latest collaboration – with designer, Greg Natale.
August 19th, 2009
The latest collaboration for Designer Rugs welcomes Greg Natale’s unique designs, exploring his signature style and symmetry.
The new collection of six individual rugs, featuring bold, colourful and intricate designs will be launched tonight (Thursday 20 August) in Sydney.
It was during Saturday in Design 2005 that Natale won the lucky door prize at the Designer Rugs display – including the chance to design his own hand-tufted rug. Natale used his GN (Greg Natale) logo to create an interlocking pattern, which caught the eye of Designer Rugs’ Managing Director, Yosi Tal.
The result of this is a range of six rugs (whittled down from around 30 designs) Inspired by Natale’s travels, love of foreign cultures and appreciation for the detail of everyday life. Each design reflects the designer’s passion for repeat patterns and his philosophy of integrating decoration and design.
The Greg Natale rugs are made from 100% New Zealand wool and all designs can be custom-coloured and sized to suit any application from feature rugs to wall-to-wall carpet and hall runners.
