Cappellini chooses BOLON. Recently Giulio Cappellini opened his latest Cappellini showroom in Paris. Not one showroom is like the other, since he always wants to adapt the concept to the special atmosphere of the city and the place itself.
December 23rd, 2010
The Cappellini showroom in Paris is dominated by Bolon’s flooring NOW Pink, which also underlies the colour of the walls and ceiling.
Giulio Cappellini says, “I choose Bolon for several projects of showrooms and public spaces because I believe that this material is beautiful, contemporary, resistant and above all, because it allows you to customize the spaces in an optimal way.
Bolon’s wide range of colours and decors allows me to always realize different spaces. In the case of the Cappellini showrooms, I like to create different coloured boxes each time, according to the cities and the countries in which they are located. Floor, walls, and ceiling are in the same tonalities.
In the case of the Paris showroom, my aim was to recreate the atmosphere of a haute-couture studio of the fifties and sixties by using the fuchsia of the floor Bolon to colour the walls and the ceiling.
I will decorate the setting of future Cappellini showrooms starting from the choice of the beautiful colours and decors of Bolon”.
