6 leading figures in the design community will be bringing their expertise to the inaugural Unlimited.

The Premier of Queensland, Anna Bligh, has appointed 6 champions from design, media and business, including Indesign Publisher Raj Nandan, to promote Unlimited: Designing for the Asia Pacific on behalf of the Queensland Government.
Each of the Ambassadors is a recognised leader in his or her field and is passionate about design and its substantial economic, social and environmental benefits.
All Ambassadors, which include both national and international names, will be attending the inaugural Unlimited event to provide their knowledge, expertise and insights to the program.
Participants of Unlimited will also be invited to speak with Ambassadors about their work throughout the 7-day event.
The Ambassadors:
Lee Lin Chin
The Indonesian-born Singapore-based Lee Lin has enjoyed a varied career in media – from news reading, researching, reporting and interviewing, to selecting and programming music, doing voice-overs for commercials and making in-flight programs for international airlines.
Lee Lin also recently hosted Designer People, a 13-week series focusing on an individual designer and their work across a range of diverse industries.
Graeme Wood
Entrepreneur Graeme Wood revolutionised the travel industry in Australia when he created the concept for, and co-founded, Wotif.com in 2000.
From his simple and innovative idea, Graeme pioneered Wotif.com’s development into a multi-national group, which employs more than 400 people in offices spread across the globe.
Raj Nandan
Managing Director and Publisher of Indesign Group, Raj was involved in the purchase of his first magazine title, Architectural Review Australia [ARA] at age 22.
In 2000, Raj founded the Indesign Group, a boutique-publishing house boasting 3 leading architecture and design titles, Indesign magazine, Design Quarterly and Habitus.
The Indesign Group also includes the phenomenally successful Saturday in Design [SID] and Brisbane in Design [BID] events, The Collection, Launch Pad, Indesignlive.com, Habitus Living and is launching Singapore in Design next year.
Bradford Gorman
Bradford was the Director of Marketing for Apple Computers in Canada from 1984 to 1988, during which time the company launched the Macintosh computer.
He established Design/Communication Associates in 1992 to provide brand services to clients in the technology, fashion and lifestyle sectors.
In 2000, Bradford launched Design/Communication Associates in Sydney.
Marie So
Marie So graduated from Harvard Kennedy School’s Masters in Public Administration/International Development (MPA/ID) program.
In 2006, Marie founded Ventures in Development, a non-profit organisation that strives to be a catalyst in the creation of social enterprises in the Greater China region. In 2009, Marie was selected as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.
Paul Bennett
Paul Bennett is Managing Partner and Chief Creative Officer of the innovative design consultancy IDEO. Paul is a sought-after writer and speaker.
Trained as a graphic designer, Paul is a pragmatic design evangelist, preaching fervently that design can make the world a better place, and providing playful, inspired examples of how it does.
