There’s excitement in the air as showrooms team up with Brisbane designers for the very first Project at Brisbane Indesign.

The Project will be a part of Brisbane Indesign for the first time this year, and local designers have jumped at the chance to work with participating showrooms to create unique installations especially for the event. The theme, Common Thread, has inspired an enthusiastic group of designers eager to explore the fusion of creative industries that epitomises Brisbane Indesign, and the links that tie them all together.

King Furniture have teamed up with long-time collaborator David Hicks for their installation, and Chairbiz are enlisting the talents of various emerging artists for a Project with a unique live element.
Cosh Living have teamed up with Sarah Foley and architecture/design students from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT).
QUT students will also collaborate with Woodhead for Inspiration Office, and with Geyer for Luxxbox.
Woods Bagot’s installation at Saturday in Design Sydney in 2011 was a shimmering optical delight, and they’re teaming up with Living Edge once again for Living Edge’s shared space with Bolon for TAG at Brisbane Indesign.
