Following the success of the ingenious Blade hub system, Stylecraft and Thinking Works launch a new collection that offers endless possibilities for the flexible demands of a modern workplace.
Available exclusively at Stylecraft, the Silo Table System by Thinking Works is the one range that has it all. A stylish and functional response to the needs of an agile workplace, Silo is a versatile table base system designed around a range of standard components that allow for a wide array of table configurations.
Incorporating a single leg profile, a hub that comes either fixed or flexible, and a rail, this uncomplicated system allows for a variety of arrangements that spike curiosity, enable seamless transitions, and drive successful collaboration. All that while elevating the visual appeal of any interior with its universal, unostentatious and rounded design.
The fixed table base is perfect for contemporary meeting rooms and boardrooms, while the option to add functional castors to any table frame ensures flexibility as the set-up becomes easy to move around. The system also offers a tiered table version – Silo Mezzanine Frame – for a swift and uncomplicated transition between sitting and standing ways of working. This responsive arrangement makes for a practical and easy to adapt workspace that invites collaboration, while the optional addition of a modesty screen between both levels demonstrates utmost attention to detail in the design itself.
The tabletops available as part of the system come in various sizes and shapes. From the more organic circular form, through the more traditional square and rectangle, to the more distinct and unusual shapes like triangle or trapezoid, Silo’s wide table top range – with a rich selection of finishes that include laminate, veneer or even bespoke options to client’s request – can fit in with any requirement and interior.
Under the tabletop, the sleek cylindrical legs are available in an assortment of finishes such as standard powdercoat, coloured powdercoat, bright chrome and timber veneer. They are completed with geometrical, arc-like leg caps that can either match or contrast the look and feel of the leg. The caps also elevate the cable management capabilities of the base thanks to a subtle cut-out detail at the back of the foot.
With the versatile character, intelligent design and creative power and data management approach that can be accommodated through the leg mount or a power box, Silo offers limitless configuration options – a quality much sought after in an agile, modern workplace.
