The red dot award design competition is tackling the economic crisis head on, inviting designers and design firms to enter the red dot award: product design 2009.
Red dot aim to recognise the best in design and business through their different awards programs. In an attempt to combat the crippling economic downturn the organization are coming out fighting – promoting innovation in design in a time of consolidation.
The red dot living exhibition is at the imm Cologne trade fair for the first time this year. Presenting works from previous winners of the red dot living award, the exhibition will run until 25 January.
The imm fair will also include the red dot reception – a networking event for the design industry.
