NAWIC NSW invites you to hear from 2 leading construction lawyers who will share some practical tips to ensure your contract is legally sound, and able to be used as an effective project management tool. The speakers will discuss how to avoid common mistakes that can often lead to disputes.
2 guest speakers will present at this forum. Geoff Wood, Construction Partner at Baker & McKenzie, has over 25 years of experience specialising in Construction and Major Projects. He advises on all aspects of the negotiation, documentation and administration of major construction, civil engineering, resources, power and privately funded infrastructure projects.
Nicole Geoghegan is Legal Counsel at GHD, advising on contracts, employment, health and safety, intellectual property and other business wide issues. Until 2007, Nicole worked as Head of Legal Services for Tube Lines in London, advising on contracts for the design, manufacture and maintenance of new trains, signalling systems and other railway assets, as well as environmental and company law.
