Architectural and design firm Bates Smart has announced a string of new promotions following a strong 2015.
November 3rd, 2015
Coming off the back of a number of notable recent projects, such as the Collins House in Melbourne and 130 Elizabeth Street in Sydney, Bates Smart has undergone an unprecedented round of promotions.
“Our recent promotions highlight the range of skills that have contributed to our continuing strength in the residential, commercial and hospitality sectors,” says Bates Smart managing director Simon Swaney.
These appointments boost Bates Smart’s cross-sector approach across Australia, and the firm hopes this will in turn lead to new opportunities. The promotions include architects with both residential and commercial experience, and a number of designers with hospitality, residential and workplace design experience.
Founded in 1852 and renowned across the country, the new team at the firm has a strong technological emphasis reflecting the both the industry and the practice’s increased focus on technology in the design and delivery process.
