The progression from artist and sculptor to become L’enfant terrible of the design world has been fairly swift for Jaime Hayon. His first furniture project in 2004 was with iconic Spanish brand BD Barcelona Design, famed for their collections with Salvador Dali and Antoni Gaudi, has given rise to one of the most exhilarating collaborative partnerships in 21st century design. In this short film Hayon addresses the process behind some of his most well known pieces with BD as well as introducing his new outdoor collection Gardenias.
