Cult welcomed guests in both Sydney and Melbourne to announce the launch of Danish design brand Vipp is Australia. Set up as complete shop-in-shop experience, Vipp’s extensive collection embraces a classic and contemporary design aesthetic.
Founded in the 1930s with an industrial background, the brand brings a level of finesse and metal work to its products.
Last week guests were invited to come in and experience the quality of the products – touching, feeling and engaging with kitchens, bins and a complete range of accessories.
In addition, Morten Bo Jensen, the company’s lead designer gave a rundown about the evolution of the brand and its driving passion for quality. References to Porsches, the original standing bin and its expertise in metal work were all mentioned.
Jensen furthers, “You will never see a younger model of an existing Vipp product. Instead, our aim is to develop products that make a difference compared to what the industry already offers a higher quality and better function. It is not just about developing something that is new or different for that reason alone.”
Following the talk, delicious food was enjoyed by the guests – a bespoke catered experience in the Sydney showroom, while Melburnian’s took in the recently opened Shannon Bennett restaurant Ikejime.
The event embedded that at its heart, Vipp creates well-designed tools for living.
Vipp is available exclusively in Australia from Cult, with an immersive Vipp Concept Space now open in all Cult Showrooms.
