Savills Asia Pacific welcomes Jack Harkness as its new Director of Regional Industrial and Logistics Services who is based in Singapore. The appointment signifies an important piece in the development of the London-based international property consultancy’s Industrial and Logistics agencies across South East Asia.
In his new appointment, Harkness advises tenants, landlords, and investors on the e-commerce, consumer-packaged goods (CPG) and data centre sectors, and cross-border capital and leasing transactions.
Harkness was previously with JLL in Indonesia, where he served as APAC director of logistics and industrial advising online retailers, data centre operators, MNCs and 3PLs on the regional expansion of their real estate portfolios. He is also a member of RICS, and a graduate of both Leeds University and Cass Business School in London.

KONE, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry appoints Sylvia Koh-Gratton as Managing Director for Singapore. Koh-Gratton brings with her over two decades of experience in the real estate industry, with roles in asset management, consulting, transactions, and digital innovation.
She previously led CapitaLand Singapore’s “Office of the Future” initiative where she focused on developing new products, services, and smart building solutions for its commercial and business parks portfolio.
Her background in smart building solutions will be crucial for our growth in the vertical transportation industry, as we continue our momentum, enabling smart buildings and realizing Singapore’s vision to become a Smart Nation powered by digital innovation,” says Samer Halabi, Executive Vice President, KONE Asia Pacific.
Buchan has appointed three of its extensively-experienced principals as key sector leaders alongside a host of changes at the studio.

Valerie Mack will lead interiors, bringing her extensive international interior design experience and knowledge of leading large design teams and working with complex client organisations to the role.

Having practiced architecture for more than 30 years, Harvey Male will bring his significant international background that spans residential, cultural, commercial, cultural and mixed-use architectural projects to lead living.

Phil Schoutrop will lead precinct (retail/mixed use). With more than two decades of experience in commercial architecture, he has led projects around the world for clients including Lend Lease, AMP and Apple.
The appointments are part of a move towards embracing a common platform for the international firm so that clients can access Buchan’s “collective creative strength and broad research base, regardless of their geographic location,” says Buchan CEO Stephen Auld.

McGregor Coxall has announced its Sydney Landscape Architecture leadership team is complete with the appointment of Andrew Langford as associate director.
Langford has previously held leadership positions at Oculus and ASPECT studios and possesses over a decade of experience in architecture, landscape architecture and urban design.
“Andrew brings a passion for design excellence coupled with experience delivering complex, iconic, and award-winning projects both nationally and internationally,” says associate director Matt Ritson. “He is also a people focused leader who will add value to the mentoring and coaching of our talented next generation of landscape architects.”
