The new space makes waves in one of the most popular cities in Southeast China by showcasing the best in corporate and commercial furniture.

Zenith, APAC’s leading manufacturer and designer of innovative products for corporate and commercial environments, brings their highly-prized design capabilities to a new venue in the Chinese city of Shenzhen. The new space, Zenith’s fourth in Asia and 13th in APAC, is a result of the brand’s dynamic international growth since the amplification of their operations in 2010 – although it’s safe to say it certainly doesn’t conclude it.

With number 13 considered lucky in China, the new location bodes well for the success of the venture – particularly under the reign of Brad Kwok, Zenith’s Southern China General Manager. Brad feels that Zenith’s values, platform and design capabilities are resonating with the local audience. “Designers here appreciate our portfolio,” he says, highlighting the innovative appeal of Zenith Design Studio.
Design-led, research-focussed and experience-orientated, Zenith Design Studio combines experience in architectural, industrial and engineering design to create corporate and commercial solutions that reflect the behaviors and practices of a modern workplace – and readily anticipate upcoming changes in the work environment. With a team of experts who investigate, prototype and test concepts and a local product design and development network, Zenith is perfectly placed to deliver authentic and relevant furniture that aligns with a variety of modern working practices and preferences across their vast APAC community, now including southeast China.

Those impressive design capabilities and commitment to research-led approach have certainly informed the set-up of the new showroom. Instead of displaying individual products, Zenith’s new space showcases comprehensive, innovative and adaptable work set-ups – “holistic working experiences,” says Brad – reflecting the current workplace trends, insights and ways of working.
Welcoming visitors is an iconic wall of chairs that speaks to the quality of the products on show. The furniture arrangements that can be experienced throughout the space embrace innovative, flexible and efficient working approaches that prioritise wellbeing. The spatial solutions on display celebrate collaboration and the social aspects of work interactions, while at the same time creating space for individual work and interactive learning, or more private interactions and executive space experiences – echoing the highly diverse needs of contemporary employers and employees, and demonstrating how they can be addressed in an office setting.

In combination with Zenith’s signature product quality and a broad, carefully-curated and well-balanced selection of designs – the showroom is a true testament to Zenith’s brand ethos and design philosophy, and is bound to become one of the design destinations in the region. Particularly as it provides value-added services that help clients and visitors personalise, investigate and visualise their projects. “Thanks to our customisation capabilities, we can accommodate our clients’ bespoke requirements, while the high-tech VR and AR technology are a fantastic aid in helping visual any experiences during the initial stages,” Brad describes. “We can also provide relevant research and share market insights, whether it’s on the future of work or wellbeing.”

Across all the regions Zenith operate, their teams design and develop industry leading products using components that are manufactured, assembled and delivered through local logistics network. This, combined with the showroom’s captivating product display and incredible capacity in terms of customisation, technology and insight – make Zenith’s new space an interactive, enriching and aesthetically inspiring design experience reflective of the modern workplace.
