Visit Hong Kong Indesign: The Event on 30 November, and stand the chance to win a trip to the Milan Furniture Fair 2014 and the Vitra Campus at Weil am Rhein.
November 14th, 2013
For anyone who loves architecture and design, this is the most extravagantly wonderful Christmas present we could ever imagine. In collaboration with Hong Kong Indesign: The Event, Vitra is giving away two trips to the Milan fair in Spring, 2014 – yes, the Salone Internazionale de Mobile itself – and including a visit to the Vitra HQ.
The Vitra HQ is basically a fairy tale land, consisting of the green open spaces of the Vitra Campus at Weil am Rhein, with sky all around and hills in the distance. Since the 1980s, the Vitra Company has erected buildings here with leading architects such as Zaha Hadid, Tadao Ando, Frank Gehry, Alvaro Siza, SANAA and Nicholas Grimshaw.
The winners will also be able to visit the VitraHaus, newest addition to this ensemble of contemporary architecture. The VitraHaus serves as the flagship store of the Vitra Home Collection, where you can see just how much craftsmanship goes into an Eames Lounge Chair. They’ll also be able to explore exhibitions and take part in workshops in the Vitra Design Museum.
We don’t know who would ever be good enough to deserve this prize, but, happily, you don’t have to be good. You just have to do what any lover of architecture and design would do anyway, which is to visit the Vitra section of the BW showroom during Hong Kong Indesign: The Event.
When you’re there, make sure to register with your name and details to go in the draw. And finally, you just have to be lucky! We are going to be so jealous of the winners. They’ll be announced in the South China Morning Post in early December.
Visit the Hong Kong Indesign: The Event website to find out more and to pre-register for the event.
