In line with its expansion plan of action in Asia, Moroso has partnered with Barunson Group to enter for the first time into the South Korean market. A 237㎡ flagship showroom over three floors opened to public on 13 October 2015 in the busy Gangnam shopping district.

Patrizia Moroso, the brand’s art director visited South Korea for the very first time in October to view the space and inaugurate the brand new showroom. She also attended a series of events and met with local architects, designers and media.
The showroom in Seoul has been specifically designed by the Moroso creative team to convey Moroso’s ultimate goal: The beauty of design. The first and the second floor of the showroom, spaces of 90 metre square each, are dedicated to a selection of Moroso iconic pieces, such as the Gentry sofa and the Fjord armchair designed by Patricia Urquiola, the Diatom chair by Ross Lovegrove and the Moon chair designed by Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka. The chairs, sofas and tables are combined into an inviting composition that re-creates a complete room while remaining essentially modular.
The brand dedicated space also includes a Diesel Living collection setting, a 42-metre-square area located in the showroom’s basement, which has been designed to express Diesel’s fun and relaxed character, and its ‘rocker vibe’.
The selection of Diesel Living’s designs includes strong identity pieces such as the Nebula Nine sofa and the Longwave armchair.
