The 9 bold collections draw on raw urban energy while staying true to d-Bodhi’s sustainable ideals.
March 28th, 2011
Award-winning eco-furniture company d-Bodhi presented a whopping 9 collections under the theme of Street Art at the recent International Furniture Fair Singapore 2011.
From daring and dramatic to sassy and playful, the designs draw on raw urban energy while carrying on the strong sustainable message.
Known for its innovative use of reclaimed teak wood, this year, the d-Bodhi design team decided to explore other viable materials that could be turned from trash to treasure.

The dBlue range gives recycled denim jeans a new lease of life as chairs, pouffes and even a coffee table; dBright introduces 13 models of table, floor and wall lamps with lampshades featuring subtle industrial or graffiti patterns; the lifestyle concept continues to fashion with dB Couture, a line of edgy and uber-soft denim jeans and T-shirts made from 17 percent reprocessed cotton waste materials.
The company also adds on to its recycled teak wood furniture range. This year’s collection uses even more leftover pieces of softly faded colourful recycled wood from old houses, many incorporating brushed-iron for decorative purposes and structural support.
