Alex Miles uses Staron Solid Surfaces to Create New Public Art

As part of the Tasmanian Government Art Site scheme, Alex Miles of Alex Miles Pty Ltd was commissioned to produce a unique and interactive outdoor sculptural work for the newly completed George Town Hub Child and Family Centre.

Over 300 guests arrived to the ‘secret garden’ of Paola Lenti at the Proof Living showroom in Singapore on Thursday 28 July. On show were the latest 2011 outdoor/indoor designs from the Italian brand, as well as a stunning video from Milan about the collection, presented by Anna Lenti, Managing Director of Paola Lenti.

We sit down with Kirsten Brown, National Insights Manager for Australia and New Zealand at Herman Miller, to talk about why the office of tomorrow will have to work harder to prove effective and why designing a space with fundamental human needs in mind is the best way to future-proof it.
