Visitors to this year’s Saturday in Design in Melbourne will experience a new curated space at Balmain Street in Richmond.

Artist and designer Christina Waterson has teamed up with howwecreate.com, ’Palamont – art in manufacturing’, CNC Metal Spinners, and Evostyle to “TURN it, SPIN it and MOULD it” with live manufacturing of designs throughout the event.

The 3 elements of this exciting new location will make it a true hub for designers, architects, manufacturers and design lovers to learn more about these popular processes and spark new collaborations.
TURN it: See Wood Worker/Designer Coco Reynolds and Designer Jonathon Logan (of Launch Pad 2011 fame) as they work with Evostyle to wood turn a special gift for you.
SPIN it: See an original style metal spinning machine from CNC Metal Spinners in action.
MOULD it: The hardworking ’MAKE it’ crew from Palamont will make and give away the winning Design a Cup entry, manufacturing it before your eyes. With over
