Austrian design collective EOOS buckles the trend for smaller bathrooms with the new Inipi B Super Compact sauna for Duravit. It comes in 2 versions – 120 x 120cm and 240 x 120cm, the latter of which can accommodate 2 people enjoying a sauna while lying down.

Also at Duravit was Philippe Starck’s own version of the hi-tech shower-toilet seat. The sleek SensoWash® can be combined with the Starck 2, Starck 3 and Darling New ranges and is operated with a wireless, intuitive remote control.

At the Neutra stand, Steve Leung presented the Inkstone collection. Smooth to the touch, it takes inspiration from the Chinese inkstone, which is traditionally used to grind ink sticks in calligraphy.

The tactile Gestalt collection from Sign caught our eye with its intricately detailed bathroom furniture and sophisticated pairing of materials.

Ludovica and Roberto Palomba’s 2012 collection for Laufen sees a range of sensual wash basins, accessories and a sculptural bathtub inspired by waves splashing against cliff rocks and coastal inlets.

The prowess of the design couple was seen yet again at Zuchetti.Kos where they presented a glowing Outdoor collection that includes a mini pool that comes in either a standalone or built-in version.
