Planning begins for the new headquarters of global law firm in the Caribbean

Woods Bagot has secured the commission for the new headquarters of global law firm, Walkers, in the Cayman Islands.
The seven-storey building will stand on stilts, designed to withstand hurricanes while incorporating environmental features such as solar heating.
The 10,000m2 project has been designed in conjunction with London-based firm, Sall Cullinan and Buck, and will be completed in January 2009.
