Australian architectural firm, DesignInc Sydney, has just completed a $3 million interior design for Maersk Australia’s new Sydney headquarters.
Designed to reflect the company’s position as an industry leader, the project follows Maersk’s recent acquisition of the relevant part of P&O and resultant growth in staff numbers and administration.
Over four 1000sqm floors, DesignInc’s vision for Maersk employs Danish design ethos reflecting Maersk brand values, employing clean geometry and use of real timber, glistening metal, and glass surfaces conveying a maritime feel.
State-of-the-art communications technologies and audiovisual facilities seamlessly connect Maersk’s Sydney headquarters with its global network. The planning is geared to achieve efficient accommodation yet giving a spacious feel and enhancing the aspect to capitalise on stunning views in all directions.
