Designed by Daniel Korb from Xchange Design, XF Work and Meeting is a simple and timeless furniture collection.
February 6th, 2012
The experience of award winning Swiss architect and designer Daniel Korb shines through in his XF Work and Meeting systems furniture.
Influenced by the Bauhaus movement, le Corbusier and Frank Lloyd Wright, Korb explores how furniture works in space, believing that “context matters” and “furniture is architecture on a different scale”.
Simple, elegant and flexible, XF Work and Meeting incorporates 18 simple patents based on one leg casting and one extrusion, giving designers a great degree of freedom within a clear set of rules.
A range of sizes and shapes of meeting table are available (up to 3600mm in length with 4 legs).
Workstation settings are available in benching and 90 degree formats, and can be fitted with a standard 30mm screen or with a specialised tool rail and slide-in screen system and accessories.
Locally manufactured parts minimise lead times, shipping and packaging. The system uses recyclable materials, further reducing its environmental impact and giving it 6 points under the current Greenstar calculator.
XF Meeting is currently available in Australia from CFS Commercial. XF Work will be available in Australia in March 2012.
