Pedrali designs Zippo, a two-seated upholstered sofa that offers visual and acoustic privacy in any office and contract environment.
February 17th, 2014
The design is an open prism of heightened back and arm rests involving the utilitarian formation of rectangular panels making it ideal for two to engage in conversation or otherwise work in a reserved space.
Zippo is made with fire retardant polyurethane foam that acts a visual and aural barrier. Providing a niche of privacy, it temporarily creates isolation from one’s surroundings -perfect for meeting, working on the computer or talking on the phone. The sofa has a zip that borders the form and runs along the perimeter so as to define its name.
