Tait launches the Sunlounger by Adam Goodrum

As summer starts to hit the Southern Hemisphere, Tait has released a brand-new Sunlounger that is perfect for both residential and commercial settings.

Extending the already popular Trace family, designed by Adam Goodrum, Tait has released the new Sunlounger. The new addition features plump upholstery and an organic form.

Taking the quintessential Aussie lifestyle and elevating it through design, the Sunlounger exudes poolside glamour and robust functionality.

The new lounge shares the same design language as the Trace family – full and curvaceous seating paired with powder-coated steel. This distinctive character of the lounge adds to its comfort while allowing it to easily join the family of other outdoor pieces.

The sunlounge backrest is easily raised or lowered via an intuitive handle mechanism, offering the option for three levels of posture. When elevated, glimpses of the characteristic Trace mesh can be seen. Once entirely lowered, the backrest sits perfectly flush with the lounge base to become a daybed.

Another design feature adding to its flexibility is the bespoke timber wheels with rubberised outer trim for smooth functionality.

The Sunlounger pushes the Trace collection range into seven different typologies – including armchair, sofa, modular sofa, coffee tables, drinks trolley and planter – making a complete outdoor lifestyle selection.

Ideal for the residence or resort, the Trace sunlounge utilises high-performance materials resilient to the ravages of sun, salt, and chlorine. The framework consists of corrosion-resistant, lightweight aluminium with aptly placed laser-cut drainage holes in the base for aided evaporation. The backrest features the signature Trace stainless steel mesh while offering added support to the user.

Sumptuous upholstery conceals three tiers of reticulated foam of varying densities to aid drying time and enhance comfort while maintaining shape and form.

The Trace sunlounge is available in hard-wearing, UV stable textured powder coat hues including Headland, Deep Ocean, Surfmist and Nightsky and upholstery can be specified in a range of premium exterior-grade fabrics.
