When it comes to designing wet areas, Stormtech has a range of options to help master the design, layout and function of an array of different projects.
October 21st, 2015
Stormtech offers a contemporary approach to drainage layouts with a range of architectural grates that offer an alternative to traditional drainage solutions. Stormtech grates are unique in their efficiency and versatility, making their drainage systems ideal for new construction as well as retrofitting during renovation projects, providing a beautiful finish and ease of access for architectural requirements.
Stormtech’s range of drainage grates are also suitable for commercial purposes and large-scale outdoor applications. For example, in the recent UTS Chau Chuk building, designed by Frank Gehry at UTS Sydney, Stormtech supplied custom-made stainless steel entry mats for the high traffic areas of the building.
These mats were hand fabricated to match the design aesthetics of the building, in particular the central stainless steel staircase. In this way, the design-led approach Stormtech applied to the project enhanced not only the function of these areas, but also the overall look.
