Introducing the Neff 2009 Collection.
July 7th, 2009
Good design is not just about aesthetics. It’s also about practicality and ease of use. Celebrating its 10th year in Australia, built-in appliance specialist, Neff, has harnessed these qualities to launch a new generation in cooking with the 2009 Collection.
In the 2009 Collection coordinated ovens, cooktops and rangehoods team up with matching compact microwave and steam ovens to form a groundbreaking portfolio of built-in cooking appliances.
Complete with all-in-one design, Neff has pioneered a brand new design concept to create a seamless finish across the entire range. Coordination is key to the collection, with all control elements – displays, control knobs and lights – integrated into each appliance’s structure.
2009 also sees the return of the ‘Slide & Hide’ door, with a choice of two ‘Slide & Hide’ oven models. Launched in 2003, the ‘Slide & Hide’ door has been further improved with the inclusion of an innovative retracting mechanism that magically disappears into the oven when you rotate the ‘Revolution’ handle.
This process is similar to the soft-close mechanism found in top-quality kitchen furniture drawers.
To complement this new mechanism, ovens now have a 66-litre capacity, providing plenty of extra room for everyday cooking. This new capacity also allows for four shelf levels, rather than the traditional three.
The 2009 Collection features both an affordable mid-range oven, as well as the deluxe model ‘B46W74’. This stainless steel top-of-the-range oven sets a new standard in kitchen technology with the ‘Slide & Hide’ door as well as the ‘NeffNavigator®’ control.
Exclusive to Neff and model ‘B46W74’, ‘NeffNavigator®’ is a large central elliptical control offering multiple menu options by rotating and vertically tilting the control to pinpoint the desired program. Touch sensors for selecting frequently-used functions offer additional convenience.
Not surprisingly, the 2009 Collection has received multiple design accolades, including prestigious iF and Red Dot awards, celebrating Neff’s new and exciting innovations in oven design.
