Adding to their Pietre Native line, the company now introduces the Pietre Rare series. Combining the raw beauty of natural stone with extreme durability, Pietre Rare is the result of in-depth research into the formal, textural and styling aspects of porcelain – aimed at achieving the most natural stoneware effect.

Casalgrande Padana’s commitment to producing wall and flooring solutions to the highest technical and aesthetic standards ensures this latest product will last a lifetime.

As with the rest of the range, Pietre Rare completely unglazed porcelain stoneware is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, for everything from residential buildings to large areas in public buildings, shopping centres and other urban design.

Allowing true flexibility, the series includes four formats – 30 x 30, 15 x 60, 30 x 60 and 60 x 60 – as well as four surface finishes – matt, polished, satin and bush-hammered – and four soft shades ranging from brown and grey to warm beige tones.

With the highest quality materials and thick slabs Pietre Rare offers fantastic durability – easy to clean and incredibly resistant to physical and chemical stresses.

However, this strength does not detract from the classical beauty of stone – the full-bodied structure, grading, chromatic effects and textures – and with pattern and veining extending the full thickness and varying from tile to tile, each slab can be worked as if it were natural stone.

As well, all materials used in Pietre Rare are environmentally sustainable – an area where Casalgrande Padana has excelled across their product range, with pioneering environmental technologies helping them to achieve ISO 14001 and Emas certifications.

The new Pietre Rare range is available in Australia through Classic Tiles and offers a design solution for almost any application. Classic Tiles offers a special service for Architects and Designers to guide you through descriptions of products, ideas and safety requirements necessary for public and private areas.
