British-born and Hong Kong-based designer Michael Young has released a range of three new exciting textiles, available locally through Instyle
June 10th, 2015
The QUE, ISM and VOX textiles are created through abstract geometric shapes, made on specialized computer software, and reflect the designer’s architectural and industrial design influences.
The three textiles are available in a clean and simple palette, with the underlying industrial overtones of the fabric being inspired by the vulnerability of natural surfaces. The ever-changing nature of eroding layers, stones, rocks and glaciers inspired the visuals of the QUE, ISM and VOX textiles.
The high quality, cotton-rich textiles achieve heavy duty commercial rating and are ideal for purposes as varied as upholstery, screens and wall panels within interior space. QUE, ISM and VOX are created as a result of Michael Young’s second collaboration with Instyle, following on from the successful Michael Young Ecoustic Print collection.
